I heard something this week that resonates. If you don't think you CAN, you MUST. If something makes you shy away in fear or self-doubt, it's doubly important that you DO it. Take control and push through it.
It hit me yesterday that the motivation I have for almost everything I do is fear. Fear of being punished. Fear of losing favor. Fear of not being accepted. While I knew that to some degree, it kind of coalesced into one big picture. I didn't realize how far it reached.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
