I have discovered that I need to work on not finishing every meal with something sweet. I don't need to have dessert (even if it is only a modest serving of chocolate covered almonds) after each meal. I am not practicing leaving the table with more savory taste in my mouth.

On a winning note--I baked brownies yesterday as a thank you to a friend's family. We had a few leftover that my daughter and her pal did not demolish. I have been staying away from them all day!
