My unofficial weight this morning was 106.5kg

I didn't track my calories on this weekend but I did eat my potato salad and I also made macaroni which followed the same overnight cooling process BUT I completely forgot to eat it. lol. I had chicken curry and rice for supper yesterday.

I'll keep to my usual Mon, Tues and Wed eating regimen and see if my weight drops into the 102's by Thursday. To be honest, I will still be happy if I just stay within the 103kg range for this week.

So do you not eat through out the day & then eat how many calories in the evening ? I see you are 106.5kg then the following day you are 104.5 kg. Interesting.

Thenjiwe I choose to do no food fast days. I last ate food last night for supper and I wont eat any food at all today until tomorrow about midday. Some people choose to eat 500/600 calories on a fast day and I also started out doing that too. My weight fluctuates alot during my week but only my weight on a Thursday morning is taken as my official weight. On a Monday I am at my heaviest due to all the weight of the food I have eaten over the weekend and my weight drops as my body digests that food. By having a fast day you force your body to digest whatever food it has in its stomach and then start burning your bodyfat for energy since there is too little or no food for it to keep using.

oooo I get it. So you don't feel light headed because of hunger or anything like that ? So many hours without food & can you exercise during this fast since there is little energy in your body for a workout?

What hunger? lol, I have no hunger at all :) I just drink water, green tea, coffee(no sugar and 15ml milk) and coke zero. I don't feel light headed at all and I go to gym in a state of not eating for 38 hours and I have a solid session of weight training and 20 minutes of cardio. Body fat is stored energy so my body breaks down my body fat and burns it up for energy which translates into weight and fat loss. I've lost over 30kg already.

You have to give your body some time to adjust to such methods and once it does, it all becomes so easy to do even if you feel from the start that its too difficult.

Ok I hear you the body will adjust eventually with this type of regime. truth it could be difficult when you start I can imagine. Im tempted to do this soon & see if I can be able to. Just that I have the love food my gosh. Ohh I look forward to my breakfast lunch and supper like you wont believe Hahaha. As you can see on the tracker there lots of thing I eat yoo.

Make 1 small change a week. Most people start with skipping breakfast because once you eat breakfast, you trigger your appetite for the whole day so many people only eat food after midday. The next step would be to have a 500 calorie fast day and the trick here is to eat food that is low in calories but high in volume so that you can eat alot and keep calories down. You just have to experiment and see what works for you. Talk to others on here who have also adopted this way of life. Everyone has tips on how they have accomplished it.

Yeah, like Leksie!!! (hehehe) I started in the beginning of May this year, and has lost 6 kilo's so far. I only eat dinner Monday - Friday & weekends I will indulge with yummy foods & have lunches & dinners. I was one of the many that thought I would die if I had to skip breakfast, never mind lunch! So, I started with just skipping the first Wednesday in May, and I thought I would do that for the whole month, then the next month, I would have changed it to Tuesdays & Thursdays, provided I got the Wednesdays right in May... Needless to say, that Wednesday went so well without food, that I decided to skip the next day's breakfast & lunch as well, and since then I've never looked back. Within a week my hubby joined me, and here we are today!

P.s: I do have a full time job, with no food whatsoever surrounding me, with that being said, it is very easy for me to not eat during my work days, but weekends are my down fall. So, during the week, I keep my dinners LCHF as far as possible & then on weekends I let my hair down a bit.
