I have been trying intermittent fasting. I only eat 500 calories from 6:00 pm Sunday night to 6:00 am Tuesday morning and then again Wednesday thru Friday. The first two times were really hard but yesterday went quite well. I also find that any kind of moving helps. I actually find a music station with upbeat music and dance around my living room for about 45 minutes maybe four days a week. My doggies think I'm nuts but I don't think they'll say anything ! LOL
I generally eat about 1500 to 1600 calories a day and really watch to make sure it's healthy food. Yes, I still eat junk once in a while but it's OK as long as I stay in my calorie range. Denial leads to over-indulgence later so better to eat a little junk now than a boat load later.
