I get some compliments from people at work. Women, of course, because I suppose my male co-workers would feel "awkward" commenting on what a female co-worker looks like, right? But that's fine, no problem with that. I enjoy many friendship with females at work and I'm very thankful for their kind words. However, my own husband will not say a word to me about my weight loss. Hello? I've lost 98 pounds since Aug. 2006, and he hasn't 'noticed'? He has, he just won't say anything. Is it because he thinks if he makes a comment that all of a sudden, I'll blimp up agains, gain it all back and it will have been some sort of 'dream'? Anyone else out there experience this sort of thing?

Honey, I found out (MEN, CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!) sometimes, men can be just plain out inconsiderate and they also carry the charm of "selective hearing" ... LOL, it's irritating but husbands will be husbands I guess.. I lost over 100 pounds before my husband decided to really notice, hee hee hee... I went from a tight 18 down to a 7-8 before my husband said "hey, you lost some weight" .. I just wanted to smack him on the back of the head :) IT's nothing toward you though honey, it's just men. ***Again, men I'm sorry, I'm sure this doesn't describe "any" of you! LOL

Yeah, I know that's 'just men.' But it's almost comical when people who are with us will comment on my weight loss, and he's right there - absolutely quiet about it. It's not like it's a big secret. Heck with him. I'm not really looking for praise from him. I praise my dang self! I'm committed to getting healthy, feeling physically good.
