Spent yesterday having a family day... it was awesome. Even when they 'drive me'... I still love them!

But my steps suffered..of course. I think I hit about 7,000 yesterday, but not sure. Re worked some of my goals for this week though. 10,000 a day is HARD!!!

So...

M, W, F = 10,000+ Days
T & TH = 7,500 Days
SA (all out at the gym...whatever it is .. it is)
Su (rest day).

I have figured out that on the days I don't get any exercise my normal average steps in a day hover around 5,000... so I will surely try to not let them fall below that on any day.

Calories wise, well, that's been creating a steady deficit. And all foods continue to be low carb induction list foods, except VEGGIES, I have started adding back in additional veggies like in OWL. And once or twice a week I might have almonds or walnuts or pecans. (small serving, natural, raw, unsalted.) Yesterday I even had a small dish of fresh strawberries and black berries. (just in the mood!) ;)

So this week, food wise, I am hopeful to have a loss on the scale tomorrow, but with it or not..will continue as I have been. I feel good, lots of energy, no sickness or aches or pains... so that's all a blessing! And my clothes all still feel like they fit the same. Some days better than others.. but still, they feel fine.

My husband seems to think my hill climbing on the treadmill is making my butt 'perkier'... if that's a word! or a thing! - Now that would be something... I have never been much for checking the backside as it's generally been unappealing! LOL!!! But I'll take his word for it!

:) You are on the right track, just diet a bit and move - and inevitably there will be results. No one has to starve, but as we get older we just can't eat the same amount of food we did many years earlier...

Having hubby think your butt is perkier is no bad thing. I am sure it will be firmer if nought else! Good plan for the week Paula, can't wait to see if there is a loss 'cause goodness knows you deserve one!

There is an infomercial for an exercise program that is supposed to lift them - so who knows?

Hill climbing and squats are totally the best for perky butts. =) I love that your hubbie is the one who noticed... adorable!!!

Yeah, he's a keeper! Had a good day.. mostly around the house trying to fit in my walking and being homebound is hard. Mom isn't feel too swift today still, bit of a head cold and sore throat. Seems to be getting better, but still, don't like leaving her alone for too long when she's a bit under the weather. So, I didn't go to the gym. Shooting for 7500 today and will shift to 10,000 tomorrow if she's well... if not, oh well... life is what it is. One day at a time! Much Love.

Paula, you're doing great! With that kind of effort you will definately be seeing some results; your husband is; and ain't nuthin' wrong with a woman who has a, "perky butt", Men definately notice things like that! It's a good thing. :-)
