Journal de Atriel, 05 nov. 07

I went and picked up the Atkins book yesterday and it is really fascinating.
It also makes me very glad that this is the diet that I chose.
I weighed my self this morning and I'm up two pounds.
I started freaking out until I remembered some posts that I read yesterday.
TOM and all... so this may not be a gain as much as it is the horomones.
But, I also didn't get to work out last week because I was swamped with work, so that may have something to do with it as well.
I have not been cheating at all so I don't think this a real gain.

Breakfast:
Coffee w/ stevia and cream
scrambled eggs w/ sausage, g.pepper, jalapeno, onion and 1 oz. of sharp cheddar cheese

I love the Atkins book, I read it front to back. It really makes so much sense. Don't worry about the gain, just stay on track and you'll make up for it at the next weigh-in... stress and lack of exercise is what I usually blame when I get busy and don't see loss. Just keep at it.

The book is really amazing and it does make sense. A whole lot of sense. I may buy a couple of copies to hand out the next time some one starts lecturing me. I stepped up my water intake too which should help balance things out. Thank you for the encouragement :)

I too have the Atkin's book, actually I have three.. I also have Atkin's for life and another Atkin's cookbook. Ya'll.. I'm ashamed to say, but I've read through my Atkin's book so many times that I had to put some tape on it to hold it together, LOL... what are they, like $5 or something, hee hee hee.... so funny! As for the 2 pound gain, I am on "faithfully" day 7 as of today and to be honest, haven't lost! Bummer. I intend to stick it out though b/c TOM is on the way (I can feel the presense nearing, lol) and there is always room for improvement. I will even cut back if I have too. I haven't gorged though, and lately can't even finish my evening meal... of course, I usually have coffee and a low carb something or other after dinner but I know what you mean about no loss. Hang in there and we'll see what we can do about that! Maybe it's that we need to push ourselves just a teeny bit harder! I feel pushed to my limit at times but what doesn't kill us..... yada yada yada
