Hi, I'm doing well. I'm in an official weight stall, but I think it may be from one of my meds. My body has built up a tolerance to losing weight, I'm metabolically not the same as when I was young. Also, I'm not exercising enough. I will try to hit the gym tomorrow, and go as much as possible. I told them that I would not be canceling the membership after all. I may as well get on the treadmill as much as I can. My back still needs the cortisone shot, but I really need to get walking too. Just walking the dog around my large apartment complex is not cutting it. Next year I will join the YMCA in my town, it will be more expensive but they have a pool and I will be able to swim regularly. I'm not upset about the stall really as jeans that are smaller size now fit that didn't and I FEEL thinner and not bloated and know I'm losing fat around my waist - I can tell. It takes willpower - anything anyone wants does and the main thing is to not give up. I'm on this for life, I think my carb max limit will be around 100gm or so (who knows?) - and I know with exercise it can be more. It is easier to maintain than to lose. I'm waking up with Atkins breath, so I know I'm in ketosis - don't need the sticks for that! And so it's onward and upward, I can do this, I'm thin already and don't have far to go, that is why I'm taking it in stride...
