THURSDAY-DAY 11
Hard to believe, but I think today was a bigger challenge for me then the first day I started this diet. I went out to eat with my father today and he absolutely LOVES Chinese Buffets. I know they're not the healthiest places to eat while on or off a diet and sometimes the food itself is questionable but he won't go anywhere else.
I didn't go near the lo-mien or the pork fried rice, anything breaded or my favorite cheese wontons. Instead I had beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, prime rib, salmon (I tried it, didn't like it), bacon wrapped scallops, cheesy crab stuffed clams and wonton soup (without the wontons, just the broth). I have to say it was the first time I ever left there not feeling full. It was weird. I couldn't find half the stuff I ate to record it in my food diary so I kinda winged it.
After that I went food shopping so I can make meals for the rest of the week and Walmart had a few of their Atkins products on sale so I bought about three boxes of bars. I guess that was the highlight of my day!
