Day 4, Cycle 2. Followed the diet 100% today, haven't even had a snack yet, I am determined to get this weight off! I did a workout DVD I had last night and OUCH am I feeling it today - at least I know it's working! I've already noticed that some of my belly is gone (it's easier on the rowing machine now!!) and when I look in my full length mirror I can tell I've lost some weight and am getting more fit. I can't wait to step on that scale Sunday to weigh in for the RIDE! Went to the gym today, and feel excellent. Greg and I are about to go shopping for Christmas/Birthday presents. His nephew's party is Sunday and we don't have anything yet, and then Christmas is coming up, so we're just going to get everything (I hope) out of the way tonight. Which means more walking...more exercise!! :) So let me get off here and eat before we go!

Great workout! I bet you are seeing results! Your diet looks really healthy too! It's great to see progress in the mirror. For me that's the big payoff. Exercising rocks! :)

Im so glad you are seeing results and that you are enjoying exercise so much. Has anyone said anything to you yet?

Nope, no one has said anything yet, but I haven't seen that many people either! I'm going to my parents for a couple days on Tuesday so my mom can cut my hair before graduation and maybe to pick out an outfit, so I hope they're surprised (they already know I'm trying, but it's different knowing the weightloss vs. seeing it!)

Oh, did end up eating out last night since we went shopping - Red Lobster, ouch! But I just looked and even with that my calories aren't bad. I did have 2 of their cheddar biscuits b/c who can resist those?! But everything else was healthy let me add up the calories...looks like 584, so even at the end of the day it was only 1003, doesn't make me feel so bad! Greg and I have his company Christmas dinner tonight at an Italian restaurant, so I'm hoping there's a good salad I can get b/c no way am I eating pasta and ruining this weight loss! 2000 -1003 =997 +919 =1916

I love Red Lobster's cheddar bisquits! Way to stay on program while dining out. Good luck tonight at the company Christmas dinner, you are so determined I know you'll do well!

Thanks for all the encouragement and good thoughts! I had thought I'd done much worse at dinner last night, but looked at their nutrition guide and apparently I didn't - had the grilled garlic shrimp and broccoli, the worst thing was the rice as my other side, but I saw how many cals that was before it came, so I only ate a bit of it! Yay! I've already seen a menu for tonight's place, so I've already decided to have the baked fish! Much healthier than lasagna, so we'll see how it goes! I'm sort of dreading the after party - we're supposed to go back to the boss' house for dessert (did this last year) and they're doing the whole "white elephant" gift giving, which totally is horrible. *sigh* Oh well, guess I better keep up appearances and at least it's only 1 night a year...but thanks again everyone!
