Still no power at home! It's hot, food is whatever we can manage to find. Mostly meat on the BBQ. I'm over it!! I wanna be back to normal,my scale broke, but I know I'm no longer in onederland. 😔☹️ this sucks

So heart broken for you guys. I can only imagine the hopelessness of the situation. Stay strong and stay positive. Help is coming.

Glad you are safe. Is your home okay once the power comes back on?

Aww miss Jenni. You're still a great success. This is just a temporary setback, another bump in the road. As my mom is always so quick to remind me, it can always be worse (although that never make the suckiness of the moment disappear). 😜 Continued prayers for all of you affected by these storms. As a native of Florida, I've been thru many myself. It sucks big time. Do whatever you need to do to get through this dear. You'll win in the end! I just know it ❤️🙏

I hate that you and yours are having to deal with this, but once it's over I see you rocking right along. You always seem to have a good attitude, so I'm confident that you'll have that momentum rolling again in no time.

A face that pretty should have a smile on it. Trust the process, you'll be back to smiling soon

Thanks guys.. if you follow me, you know how positive I usually am. This has gotten me almost to tears. Not the weight gain, the massive destruction in my yard! Concrete has been lifted, massive trees have been uprooted and of course the lack of power to be able to provide a safe, cool environment for my children is driving us mad. I know things will get better. Thank you for your well wishes. 💋💋

Oh, Jennibean, I'm sorry, Hon! 🙆🏻That seriously sucks. But even without power you still have water for cool or tepid baths to cool off so the kids can stay in swimsuits and jump in and out of the tub if nothing else. 🤷🏻‍♀️And if you have psyllium seeds you can roll a tsp or two into a bandana and sew it up. Then soak it real good with water and wear it around your neck or forehead. 🙋🏻Try and treat this like a camping adventure if you can. I know it's SO tough. But your kids will follow your lead as you know being as positive as you are. 😘I have faith in you. Find some veggies to put on that grill, or use a pan from your kitchen and you can make soups or stews or eggs or whatever you want! You are mighty!💪🙋🏻I'm assuming you have coolers for keeping stuff cold. It's hard to do, but I managed Christmas Dinner for 7 in a new house with no refrigerator using coolers so it CAN be done! LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️Sending all my good thoughts and love, Hon! Take care! 🙋🏻

It will get better, I promise. Disaster recovery is stressful as all get, and you've certainly been through the wringer. Don't worry about weight gain right now. Just take it easy -- you've earned a little respite -- and try to stay safe and positive for your kids. BTW, if your kids look anything like you, they're gorgeous!

Be strong for your children they will remember this and draw from the experience later when they have their bad times. You can do it! be resilient! Best of luck!

Once I lived through "no power" for 4 days. Thought i would lose my mind. It's really not nice to challenge the Momma Bear. Here's to you, 🥂 finding some peace. 🕊

No power, no a/c; are you sleeping ok? Your body will get back to the trajectory you were on before; sorry about the meat when you were just feeling better switching to (more?) plant-based. Do you have safe water source?

We have a lot of water! We were fortunate enough to not have any damaged water lines!! It's changing my WOE that's killing me. It was working so well for me! I'm sleeping fine, I could sleep anywhere, anytime!
