Happy Birthday to me (73) 🎂🎈🎉 This is a big day for me. My quirky little reason is that each of my parents died shortly after reaching age 72. I'm not usually superstitious, but... I think part of it is that generally we do eat healthier than our parents. And, people know a lot more about illness and prevention now. My Dad was meat and potatoes all the way, and definitely had a weight problem (and a few other less than healthy habits). He had adult onset diabetes, cancer and heart disease. Mom had severe arthritis, heart disease and my Dad to contend with (Lol)! I'm glad to eat vegetarian. It's taken me decades to finally walk away from meat.
