I used it during a horrific period in my life when I HAD to eat and had absolutely no appetite or wish to do so. I figured it was a decent source of calories, and I did enjoy the ones I mixed up (I don't like the ready-to-drink kind) because I spiked them with espresso, or vanilla or coconut extracts, cinnamon, whatever. I also used frozen strawberries in place of ice cubes when I made the strawberry flavor. I haven't ever used it purely as a diet because I need to follow a low carb plan now, but I'd still buzz one together if I was on the run and it was going to be several hours before any other food would be available.
