You are a trooper so you will learn to change your WOE. The most important part is getting rid of the terrible pain. I had mine out 21 years ago. And still am going strong.

The immediate health issue is the most important. But when that occurs stay away from liquid calories. Drinks don’t get u full but their calories do add up 😩

I had gall stones and was recommended for surgery 20 years ago. I did a gall bladder cleanse (there are plenty out there...) and haven't had any problems! I went through a naturapath because I was a little scared to "pass" them. https://articles.mercola.com/gallstones/treatment.aspx and
https://wellnessmama.com/38/liver-gall-bladder-cleanse/
When I did it, I ate nothing but apples for 5 days. The 5th night I drank 1/2 cup olive oil with lemon. The next morning I did a "coffee enema" and saw 100's of gallstones.

@seekerofgrace, I was diagnosed and prepped for surgery 11 years ago, pregnancy test before surgery came back positive (my daughter) I’ve managed to keep it in good shape since then. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, which I’m told, can directly be the cause. I just need to feel better fast. I’m in a lot of pain and discomfort. Don’t think I can take it much longer!

Mercy - do you think you could get a second opinion?

if you are already in the habit of weighing and otherwise measuring your food now, just keep it up after surgery. you can do it. plus, without the pain and discomfort, maybe you'll be able to move more freely?
