Day 5 Phase I of Fat Smash. Doing fairly well today I suppose. Haven't got any exercise in because I laid in bed this morning not feeling well. I have an upset stomach and really hope I'm not getting sick. I just feel sort of "blah". I did eat today and I'm drinking some tea now. Still haven't cheated on the diet, but it's crazy I keep having these dreams about it. Not just cheating a little, but horribly; for some reason I had Burger King in my dream last night. Like a huge double whopper or something. I don't even LIKE BK that much! Weird. When I first started this I was like "9 days, that's not so bad" but I just keep waiting for it to be over! I may not stick to Fat Smash fully after this 9 day detox. I think I will mainly, b/c phase II looks fine I'm able to eat cereal and meats again and all, but I don't understand why I can't eat english muffins. I LOVE my english muffins (the 100 cal ones). And I have a question, what's wrong with popcorn? I enjoy popcorn a lot. So I may modify Fat Smash and see how I do!

I think the problem with popcorn is all the salt, which is bad for you and makes you retain water. (Most of the weight you lose in the first week of any diet is water).

true, but then it should be allowed as long as you don't salt it! Especially if you air pop it, or even if you oil pop it.

visit fatsmashforum.com, they address a lot of the FAQ about questionable food. I know they address the issue of air popped pocorn. A lot of the FAQs were answered by Dr. Ian himself. The site is an invaluable resource for any fat smasher!

You are doing great and I know this will work for you! Defiantly take a look at the fatsmashforum.com it really helps. It does say on there that it is ok to eat small amounts of popcorn, but like you said with out all the other stuff on it. I am like you though, I love popcorn and once out of detox will add it into my diet. The best advice I can give you is that just be sure to watch portion sizes and count calories for sure...you are doing great, keep your chin up and have a wonderful weekend!!!
