Joined a new challenge to walk 20 minutes a day. I just got back from the first walk. It was harder than I thought. This is why I don't exercise... everytime I do, it reminds me of how pathetically out of shape I am. Oh well, gotta start somewhere.

I understand exactly how you feel, but trust me, after a week or two, it will be easier and soon you will be walking more than 20 minutes and loving it! Great job, and hang in there!

Yes - when I started I walked under 10 minutes and was out of breath. Within a couple weeks, I was walking a mile a day - now up tp three miles. Just pace yourself and enjoy the time to yourself to get out and enjoy the scenery!
