Hi, I'm 62 and a father of 2 boys and 2 girls all except 1 married. I am grandfather to 4 boys and 3 girls. We are foster parents and have 1 kid in our care (15 yrs). Fostering helps keep us young.

This is my third time to do Atkins. Did it back in 2004 and lost 12.75 Kgs (28 lbs). Slipped back to the old ways and weight went up to 87.5 Kgs in February 2007. Decided I would start Aktins again. It's the best of the diets I have found and the weight does drops off fairly quickly. Have cut out alcohol completely this time round and find that I am losing weight faster than previous times.
