Greetings and Salutations!

Here is the long and short of it all....
I have been overweight since the second or third grade. I have always been told, "You are so pretty, you just need to lose weight." Maybe that helped me against a lot of childhood teasing...but my brother made up for that! I will never forget him saying to me in the midst of his friends, " You are so big...even you hair is big!" As I got older, I noticed that boys did not pay attention to me but to my more outgoing and thinner friends/classmates.
I did not have my first boyfriend until 18. My mom was the complete opposite of me. Petite, small boobs, small, shapely bottom. I on the other hand was always big and wide, had big boobs, and a flat bottom!

Although, it sounds like I am complaining and felt bad about my childhood I am not. I actually think it made me into the person I am...which ain't to bad. Definite character builder.

Anyway, I continued to battle with my weight through my twenties and now early thirties. I finally had enough and are working hard to get rid of as much of it as possible...in a healthy way that will stick for the long haul.

The journey continues...
