Making a list of my favorite foods in the restaurants. The criteria is high protein content, medium calorie level, and low DII index value.
This grilled calamari with veggie salsa is about 150g and contains ~25g of protein. The whole meal, including the salsa which contains olive oil, would be about 200 kcal and is suitable for a dinner. They usually offer bread and butter at the table, adding more calories. Add another 150 kcal and 5g of protein from butter.
Definitely "yes" to this!

Waist - 82cm (32.3inch)
Ratio - 0.4939
My goal is a 0.46 ratio (76-77cm).
I am trying to eliminate the visceral fat. Decided not to concentrate on the weight because many factors (such as water content, muscle weight, etc.) affect it.
Methods - intermittent fasting, calorie restriction, Mediterranean diet, light exercises.

I have started with over 1000kcal (basic calculations) of deficit (5th day today) and my weight loss is not remarkable...lol...This is the first time I started this low in calories - around 1300Kcal.
I was expecting some kind of feedback my body will give me after the 5th day, like "I am starving, I am dying, give me more food!".
Not really. Slight increase in the muscle % (0.7) and the drop in fat (0.7). Need to watch that, because muscle loss is the main enemy for older females.
I guess the 1300Kcal metabolism rate my "smart scales" gave me is about right. My body does not need more than that.
Every day I walk 6 miles for an hour on a trail (nordic walking - not very fast, so I set it as hiking in the calculator) to make sure I approach the weight loss task from both directions.
Just need to be patient. Weight control is not a goal, it is a lifestyle.

Beautiful, low-calorie chicken curry... in the process...
Simmer some more to allow the flavors to blend. Next - braised napa cabbage and shrimp!
