Yesterday was good. Breakfast didn't happen, and I had sushi, an orange, and sugar free pudding for lunch. I had about 60 cals worth of dark chocolate for a snack. After work, I met a friend for dinner and had a giant vegetarian taco salad. I ordered the chips on the side, but I ate most of them. Very hungry!

Then we went rock climbing. I was really not in the zone. I fell 5 times on a 5.10 that I've sent ever time I've done it. It was frustrating.

I took a giant lead fall in an overhang. I was 5 feet away from my last clip and my belayer had about 3 feet of rope paid out, so I'd guess I fell at least 15 feet. After doing so, I realized that I'd probably broken the "no intentional whipper" rule. Oh well. It was super fun.

I think I'm going to start doing some sit-ups. My weight really doesn't seem to be going down much, but I feel firmer through my midsection and the more firm I feel, the more firm I want to feel! I also want to feel confident wearing tiny climbing shirts this summer. I've never done that since I started climbing because I've been self conscious about my gut and my giant shoulders. The shoulders aren't going anywhere.

Today is a short work day. Because of the expected ice storm, our peeps told us to come in at 10. There's no ice, but I'm not coming in early! I was really hoping to get the day off. Oh well.

So I think I'll go to spin class after work tonight. That should be a good start to the weekend!

Yesterday was great--it was cold, so I drove in to work rather than carpooling with my husband. (When I carpool, I get a 2.5 mile walk in both ways which is a really nice way to start and finish the work day. I get some good thinking in, listen to podcasts, it's GREAT me time.)

I had my oatmeal concoction for breakfast again, but added frozen mixed berries. Even better. It was like breakfast cobbler! Lunch was late--I had Qdoba mexican gumbo at 2:30. I was starving and I ate just past the point of comfortable fullness. After work, I did a spin class. I'm going to make an effort to get to 2 spin classes a week to work on my knee stability so I can run again. Once my office moves near the pool, I'll do at least one pool workout per week, too.

After work is always my problem time. After a moderate, healthy dinner, I stayed up late to see the eclipse and fell to snacking. That's something I can work on.
