just got computer back. Lots to do and busy week ahead. Still getting back on track after vacation doing phase one and having success considering my age and other factors that make me lose slower than others. I am happy with the results of phase one so far but will be glad when this next week is over and I can have the beautiful fruit that is in season again.

will catch up with everyone after the weekend.
We have graduation ceremony for son-in-law, mothers day, birthdays, etc, all happening this week and next. Lots of activities, more travel and overnight/weekend stays and things in the works. youngest daughter just got a big grant AND a small scholarship for this coming year and we hope she graduates next summer with her BS.

The bug I got in Mexico is and has been gone. I feel fine and it was NOT the flu, just the same parasite that seems to attack a lot of visitors. Those parasties seem to like to sneak back across border's into new territory.

WEIGHT: Gain. Time for me to get serious again. My eating has been pretty good but I haven't exercised in about a month now. Time for me to get moving again. I also need to go back to weighing in daily. I know that doesn't work for everyone, but for me, it keeps me accountable and aware.

DIET: I have been eating good foods and most days I am sure my calorie count is excellent. My problem is that I have had a scattering of bad days with company entertaining and am paying the price for it today with this gain.

ATTITUDE: I am actually feeling more like getting back on track again. I don't like seeing the scale move upward. It's not easy with a trip near on the horizon and lots of things to do before we leave...excuses huh! I need to stop making excuses.

EXERCISE: My BF talked to me today and said that while in Mexico she wants me to help her do "water walking" in the pool. She has an injured hip and the water activity would be good for her, so we will plan on doing a lot of water resistance walking in the pool every day. Actually I can get some good swimming in while we are there too (I think Im the only one of our group that actually "SWIMS" and not just paddle around.
