Well not what I expected. I gained 1.4 lbs this last week. But I was down 1 inch on my total measurements, so that is a postive!!!
This past week I have put in just over 12 1/2 miles on the tread mill and 16 miles on a stationary bike. I also did weight conditioning for 4 hours over the week and did roughly 1 hour in ab workouts and i still gained. I have stayed true to my meal plans and have been getting the 240g of protien, under 55g of fat and 190-300g of carbs per day that I need. My nutrionalist is going to look at my food journal for the last 3 weeks and see if there is anything i could be eating that may be slowing me down.
My Nutrionalist and trainer both believe that my weight gain is muscle due to the fact that i am a strong man and am working those muscles hard for the first time in a long time. And again, I did loose inches and that is huge!
Other than being bummed out about the weight gain last night at weigh in I am over all still positive about this and know it will come. It just takes time. I didnt gain it all over night and Im certainly not going to loose it all over night either.

Had my second weigh in and measurements tonight! I was down another 3 lbs! Not quite the 10 lbs from week 1, but still very encouraging! My favorite part of the night was my measurements. I was down another 7.75 inches from last week. Almost 14 inches from original measurements and almost 14 lbs in just 2 weeks! I know I wont keep loosing like this forever but it is so awesome to see such dramatic change in 2 weeks just from doing what I should have been doing for the past 12 years! Healthy organic foods, proper portion sizes, and EXERCISE!!!!! At 3 lbs a week I could make my goal weight in just 15 months. Looking forward to my workout tomorrow more than ever!

Today is day 15 of my journey. Just 2 weeks in, loving the results so far! Looking forward to weighing in tonight to see my progress! I have worked out every day so far, I can honestly say this is the first time in my life i have ever purposely gone to the gym to better my self 15 DAYS IN A ROW!!! Pretty excited!

Had a great day today! Went to a union meeting for my work to discuss the usual "union stuff" and it was brought up that I have hired a trainer and am in a wellness program. One of our union members brought up helping me out financialy. The union voted and they have offered to pay for my trainer short term to help out. What a blessing! I can not thank them enough! Not only do I want to do this for myself but i now have another reason to succeed! I dont want to let them down.
Had a great work out today, I can barely move my arms, LOL. I have not lifted like this in over 15 years. It feels good to have the sore muscles and it constantly reminds me that it is PROGRESS I am feeling!!!! I came home and fell asleep and missed my afternoon snack. Oh well.
I have a weigh in in 3 more days and am excited to get on the scale. I dont know if I will have lost 10 lbs like I did the first week, but I know I will have lost. My clothes fit better every day I put them on!
