Ugh! Move already scale! What do you want from me? My calories are good, my exercise is increased and yet you still won't budge. You think you are going to win but you won't! I promise you that. If you continue In your stubborn way, I will toss you away with all the junk food and buy a nice new sleek model. Your choice. Let me know your decision in the morning.
Humor - gotta laugh cause otherwise I would cry.

No grandkids tonight. Their dad didn't have to work. I still took my walk which in the past In I would have found 101 excuses not to do. In fact, I ran about 1/2 mile and finished 2.5 miles in just under 40 minutes. That's pretty good for me. Food today was good until dinner. No grandkids = hubby not cooking. But, i journaled my food which i just would not have done in the past. Over all, a great day. If the rain holds off, i may go for a quick bike ride.

10,256 steps today. Oldest grandson was is a really playful mood tonight. We had so much fun playing. No matter what the scale says, he will keep me young at heart. I am teaching him to eat and enjoy his veggies. Even his younger brother (10 months old) eats fresh steamed broccoli and green beans! Older grandson asks papa to make him vegetables. Gotta love that.

Had a fantastic weekend in Mackinaw. Walked about 3 miles and rode the bike 16 miles - that's around the island twice. I was ready to go a third time when hubby confessed he wasn't feeling the greatest. So we headed back to the city, sat in the hot tub for a while then walked into town for dinner.
October goal is to be down 5+ pounds! faithful journaling including foods! exercise! emotions etc. drinking enough water, kicking up the exercise, taking swim lessons and taking care of myself first. I told a good friend today that she needed to take care of herself before she could take care of others. I need to take my own advice.
Bring on October. I'm ready,
