Well, it's Monday. I start again. Determination to be faithful in writing recording all I eat and limiting my calories to 1400 per day. This is doable!! Stress is over for a while - granddaughter's wedding coming and big trip in July. I can do this. God has given me a brain, a conscience and faith.

I woke up yesterday and felt the Lord saying to me, "This is your drop dead day. You have not more days left to press the "Start" button. No more excuses, no more delays, no more do overs".
I weighed in the morning and that is what I logged in today.
Praising God for His goodness and His voice. He is my strength and partner in this journey. I will not fail because my confidence is in Him!
Praising Him and asking Him to give me His strength and wisdom.

We are on vacation, staying with family and eating out. We will be heading home on the 24th and I should have more control over what I am eating.

We are on vacation! I am reading a book called "Made to Crave" and I want more than anything to be in harmony with the Lord, stop the cravings and eating empty calories. When I am craving, I want to go to God instead of food. In the second chapter, Lysa talked about tearing down the tower of cravings and eating unhealthy food, and using those bricks to build a road to God. That is my objective now - to tear down the tower of "feel good" eating. It is built on lies and sin, which lead to death. If I don't stop eating this stuff, it will kill me. Overweight is a dangerous slippery slope for our bodies. Time to find a plan, make a commitment, stick to it and reach the goal of walking with Christ instead of food for comfort. Looking for a good program with a good healthy balancce of protein and carbs.
