I'm on here to learn about cholesterol and where it's hiding. Yesterday, I got pizza for the first time since joining FS. I learned that one day of eating pizza leaves me with a daily cholesterol count of over 1,000. I hadn't really been seeing much change in my cholesterol intake until yesterday, but that was a major spike. I see why delivery pizza should be a once in a while treat for more than just financial reasons.

The new toaster oven earlier when I was teaching my son how to toast his bread. It was just $19.83 from Walmart. He now wants to get a Kid Cuisine meal to make in it. It's smaller than the ones I grew up with, so I'll have to be more careful.

My new toaster came! I opted for a toaster oven this time and I'm teaching my son how to use it. He's only had pop up toasters.

We were out in town today, going to the bank, looking for a used washing machine (ours is holding water), looking at used TV's (got a nice, big one for $19.99), looking at used toasters (ended up ordering an even cheaper one from Walmart that's supposed to get here tomorrow). We grabbed some cans of cat food and my son kept saying he was hungry, so we grabbed some Little Caesars on the way home. It's been a while since I've had Little Caesars, so I was finally able to try one of those pizza puffs they've been advertising. I'm over it. It was burned on the outside and uncooked on the inside (like you actually had the individual strands of shredded cheese). My son enjoyed them anyway, so that's good. We've eaten and the cats have eaten (mixed grill paté cat food, yum). The new to us used TV is hooked up and it works and looks good. My son is playing Spider-Man with his best friend and I'm ready for a nap. My feet hurt.

The family had the Labor Day cookout yesterday. It was grilled chicken (pre-soaked in a vinegar and egg mixture), pasta salad, corn on the cob, corn off the cob (for those who can't bite the cob), baked beans, potato chips, ranch dip, French onion dip, vinegar based sauce, and orange creamsicle poke cake. I only ate chicken, corn, and some chips. Still not feeling well. Last night, I felt like it was sitting in my throat. I had to prop myself up in bed to sleep.
