Water challenge has been completely successful but water has never been an issue for me as I don't drink soda so all of my beverages are water - unless, of course, I out with my GF having a drink! Exercise has been good too! Goal is over 10,000 steps a day for at least 5 days a week. Plus I play fairly aggressively with my grandsons and ride my bike. The hubby and I will head to Mackinaw Island this weekend with our bikes so we will get in a lot of exercise - 20+ miles on Saturday akone.
The diet is getting better everyday but sometimes remains a challenge. Now, I'm just waiting patiently for the scale to move. I try not to focus on the numbers and instead focus on my energy level and overall feelings, but sometimes it is very nice to have the scale drop or have someone comment on your weight loss.

Want to know how many calories you burned while exercising - check out this website. www.healthstatus.com
Enter your weight and the number of minutes spent doing an activity and it will calculate the calories burned. The really neat thing is that you can add several activities at one time and get the calculations for each individually plus a total burn!

A NEW BEGINNING!
I realized that I am not worth much to anyone if my health is suffering. So, today I will begin to put myself first. I am very blessed and very fortunate to have a wonderful and supportive husband who does most of the cooking. Our daughter comes over 5 nights a week with her two boys (2 and 10 months) for dinner so the hubby cooks mostly to satisfied them Rather than state what I need, I eat what he makes for them. Today, I will start to break that habit. I truly love having them over every night and don't want that to change, so I will make the adjustments necessary. After all, no one holds me down and shoves mac & cheese down my throat! But, as I said, I need to put myself first and take care of my needs first. If I don't take care of myself, then I am useless to those that I love.

Water challenge has been successful all week. Never less than 80 ounces per day and typically 100+ ounces. Having difficulty finding time to get all the journaling done with working full time, getting in at least 10,000 steps a day and spending time with grand babies and hubby. Trying to figure it all out.
