Been doing excellent. Running more, eating less under my calorie allowance.

Today.....that's another story. I went out for breakfast and ordered a spinach frittata. It was NOT a frittata. Fritattas are eggs with toppings cooked into the egg. Nope this was some monstrous creation. It was egg(s?) omelette style, topped with sauteed mushrooms, creamed spinach, some pastrami, and 3 slices of Muenster cheese. It was huge and greasy. I've been known to put away a ton of food with my huge appetite, but I seriously couldn't eat more than half. It came with 2 potato pancakes and toast. The best part of the meal was the toast. I only had one slice.

I estimated my caloric intake what I ate. Who knows how many calories were in that meal. I guess my reason for journaling it is to take note: high calorie meals aren't always satisfying-even if you're dieting. The food and eating it weren't what I expected. I didn't get much joy. :( I had excellent company with my good friend though.

I know this sounds silly, but I look forward to returning to my routine foods I typically eat like tuna and shredded wheat cereal.

It's been the longest/busiest week I've had in a long time. Certainly, all year. ;) The week has been good diet wise, but I've been so cranky and irritable in between meals. Tonight I finally got to sit down for a real home-cooked meal before 8:30 PM since Sunday. I feel like I pigged out but it only came to 485 calories!! (Probably too salty and I'll be bloated in the morning, but it'll be worth it.)

I had: meatball sandwich on a hamburger bun, a tiny portion of spaghetti, Asian vegetable mix, cauliflower soup, and a slice of roast pork tenderloin.

I feel like I have a food buzz. 🤪

I am only counting my weigh-in's on Saturdays bc it's the only day I could weigh myself first thing in the morning right when I get out of bed without waking anybody up. I have been keeping tabs, and have seen the #'s a couple pounds less. I hope my "big" dinner won't affect it too much. So I could make it "Fatsecret official."
