I've been off this site and away from journaling for a while now. When I started gaining weight again, even though I was following my way of eating, I started getting discouraged and just completely fell away and eventually went back to eating full carbs, just anything and everything that I wanted.
Fortunately, I really didn't gain too much weight BUT I could definitely tell a difference in my belly---it bloated out.
When I made my appointment to have my 5 year colon check (colonoscopy), I made up my mind that I would come back to low carb/keto and stop drinking sodas--get back on track--the cleanse beforehand would be a great start!!
So, here I am--back again--and plan to document all of my foods taken in....

I've started gaining again and the best I can come up with is that I was drinking too man diet sodas. So I need to break that habit now. They're so much easier for to drink at work. But, I became so disappointed in myself because I'd once again got down to 225 and then started gaining again. I'm hoping that the diet soda is the problem and I can now get below 225. We'll see.

So today was a really BAD day--Mama fell, landed on her chin. Now she's bruised and had a pretty big gash on her chin. It's becoming increasingly difficult and stressful....normally, I would be eating my emotions but today, the worse I did was eat 3 oz. of pork rinds. SO, that's a positive milestone. Maybe, just maybe I can lose all of this weight!
I did also go to enroll at a gym (Planet Fitness) that is opening within the next week near me. That will help me to relieve some stress AND help with the weight loss!! So 2 positives for today....
Maybe, it wasn't such a bad day after all!
