Day 4:

Today was a pretty good day for me. I keep expecting the sugar/carb cravings to sneak back up on me, but it's not happening. Talk about a quick withdrawal! I've started clearing out some of the bad foods. It's not exactly tempting, but I'd rather not have it. It's not like I'm going to eat it! I feel good to dump all the carb laden things from the fridge.

I'm a little disappointed that I wasn't able to walk my 2 miles due to bad weather. I think I did good with food today. I bombed making my dinner, but it's an ongoing learning process.

My only real concern is that I'm not eating enough or something. After breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I totaled about 864 calories. There's a chance I'll tack on about 50-100 more with a snack, but that's about it. My RDI for my stats stays I should have 2200 per day... I'm not sure what to believe! I feel PERFECTLY FINE and satisfied, but I don't want to sabotage myself because I'm suffering a small appetite.

If anyone reads this, what do you think? Any input would be greatly appreciated! :)

Day 3:

It's my 3rd day into induction and I feel great. Exercising moderately daily, eating properly (I think), and my immense sugar cravings from the 1st night are gone. Everything seems to be going fine, if only I had a scale instead of a measuring tape so I'd be able to closely keep track with my progress. *sigh*

There's still a lot of 'bad' foods in the house as mom and I have yet to hide/trash them. We've been doing quite a bit of shopping to stock the fridge with friendly foods, and that's a good thing. Adapting to cooking for myself and for every meal is new...

My only grievance... That my mother doesn't truly understand that I want to start in Induction and not OWL. She keeps bringing me these things and making things that AREN'T Phase 1 friendly! It's almost as if she's trying to subconsciously wreck my progress!
