Im still dropping weight despite TOM. Very odd. Im also getting heart palpitations..had em all weekend. I drink coffee once/day..or have been recently..so that is nothing new. I spent a few hours over the weekend scrubbing the bathroom floors..that is new. Hmmm...
Im going to stop drinking coffee for a few days. If my palps dont stop, Im seeing a physician. Nothing more, I feel groovy otherwise :) Well..maybe a bit irritable...my body feels anxious. I hate that feeling..almost jittery. I cant believe I get that from a cup of coffee I had 5 hours ago.

Are you still taking those stimulant pills? If not it could be that you're low on some vitamin or mineral. I'll see if I can look up which one. If I find it I'll let you know.

I've been having issues with not being able to lose weight no matter how strictly I follow a diet (or I lose a little and it comes right back). Because of this I have been doing some research into hormonal problems. What you describe sounds similar to adrenal fatigue. You may want to look into it. I have found a great book called "Feeling Fat, Fuzzy, or Frazzled" which has some really good information on hormonal imabalances and natural ways to try and get back into balance. I think that many of us neglect to think of hormonal problems when we have trouble with our weight, bad PMS, depression, water retention, and a whole host of other symptoms. Hope this info helps!

Thanks Slease. I checked out http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/doi.php to check out the symptoms. The most common are: Tired for no reason and trouble getting up in the morning... Feeling rundown, overwhelmed, unable to bounce back from stressors... Craving salty/sweet snacks and feeling best after 6pm... I have 0 of these symptoms. I have heart palpitations...so far today Ive only had about 3 of them. I did read yesterday that hormone fluctuations like estrogen dominance plays a role in palpitations..especially around perimenopause. GOD help me if Im going through that! I found 10 white hairs on my head this morning; I just turned 30!!!! If the palps are benign, they should go was away as quickly as they came. I might be dehydrated too..so Im up'ing my liquids..also in a worse case scenerio I might have my magnesium level checked.. But Im not there yet..

Women can start having hormone issues in their 30's, especially if they have used the pill or other hormonal birth control methods. It isn't necessarily a portend of menopause, just a fluctuation. All of the hormones are related. When you have an imbalance of one it can cause problems with all of the others. There are so many things that I never really considered. I think that my problems may be due to estrogen dominance and am going to visit my doctor to talk about testing. Back when I was taking classes, working, taking care of a family and everything else, I was really stressed and didn't realize how much until I started having palpitations and eye twitches. I know how you feel on this one. :)

I've had about 3 hot flashes in the last 4 months. I read the side effects of the depo prov. shot and that is a side effect. In fact I have all the side effects it listed.
