It's a good feeling when you haven't been trying, and you get on the scale to find you've lost weight. It is like a spark of motivation. We have been eating some great meals at home lately that are completely from scratch, staying away from packaged foods as much as possible. Things like...chicken pot pie soup and hearty cheeseburger soup, turkey sausage with fennel saurkraut and baked apples for dessert. Delicious!

Congratulations!! Keep it up :-) I quit smoking on the 22nd of September, and at first I didn't gain, however I also have been making the homemade yummy foods and obviously have been indulging because I have gained a couple of pounds in the last week or so. I haven't been moving as much as I'd like though, so hopefully it will come back off along with even more.
