I lost 1.1 kg in one day, by staying under my calories, I stayed under my calories the whole week, but started to gain? I gained the whole 1.1 kg again. Can it be that my body is holding back water? I am a week away from my period and I know some woman gain weight then, could this be a possible reason?(sorry for the uncomfertable question) And how can I avoid it? Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Apparently it is best to weigh yourself and take the average over a week because fluctuations are totally normal. I put on 1kg easily when PMSing

Dont worry too much about your weight - early days, do you work out? Weight lifting? Or cardio? Focus more on weight training and measure your progress and use the mirror as proof.

Leondeschamps, I'm busy writing exams so I don't have time to exercise. But I'm finnishing on Wednesday and then I'm starting with Taebo. But I don't know if my calories will be too little, as it's 1000 a day?

1000 is way to little id say, try upping it to 1500 at least with a workout at least. You need to feed your metabolism and work it off 👌🏻 1000cal is starving you and not good long term

I wouldnt stress too much if I were you. What many women dont realize is that our hormone changes can cause weight fluctuations of up to 4kgs in a month. Best thing to do is figure out what day of your cycle you are on and only compare the weight on that day with the same day of the previous month. So, day 2 of your cycle is compared with day 2 from last months cycle. Most women are on a 28 day cycle, but there are some that have a longer or shorter one. start counting day 1 from the first day of your period and when you get to your first day of your next period then the previous day would be the total length of your cycle. I stressed about the same thing myself, gained 2kgs overnight, hadnt changed anything in my diet the previous day, kept everything exactly the same and the 2 kgs were gone within 3 days. Since tracking my cycle, i have noted that this always happens for me on day 26.

its water retention u cannot lose fat in a day it takes 10 days into a diet for your body to start burning fat. changes is weight after 10 days is true weight loss. The rest is just water retention
