this week has been extremely tough. My partner and i split up and it has hit me very hard. I'm still feeling very low. been taking out all my emotion on the treadmill and for this week it seems to have paid off.

I went out last night but was paranoid about the way i looked. i have no confidence at the moment so i know that when i loose more weight then i will slowly gain confidence.

Hang in there! I'm sorry you have been so down. I have too in other ways... and it's very tough. That treadmill is a great way to release those endorphins and endorphins are supposed to make you happy! So go for it!!! You will be sooo happy you did! Keep your chin up. :)

I am sorry you are sad. Just know that just because you are sad does not mean you are weak. People feed off our emotions and are quick to judge off first impressions. After my divorce it was uncomfortable to date again and I was very naive. What I realized after feeling that i too was not good enough was that I need to spend some time alone in self reflection. #1. Love yourself. If you do not love yourself, no one else will be able to. #2. Talk about it. It is amazing what you will find out about yourself when you just talk. #3. Acceptance. Your split with your partner may hurt, but your life is not over. So many other opportunities out there. God really wants the best for you. 4. Exercise. Even if it means going for a walk. Getting out with nature does wonders for the soul and your self esteem. 5. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all can be our own worst critic. Just know that you are not alone. There are so many others dealing with the same issues everyday. 6. Help others. This will boost your confidence, get you socializing... 7. Reward yourself...even if you cheat. You started this diet, and you can absolutely finish it. Then you can look great, and tell your partner to kiss your lovely butt.LOL 8. Choose. Choose to react to what will benefit YOU. Let go of anything that is holding you back from being your best...(Emotions, people, food, whatever) 9. Keep in touch. I am here for you. 10. I know what you mean about the no confidence thing. Sometimes i feel that way to, then another time i'll feel great. It's all a state of mind. But when you feel good it does make a difference to your confidence. I know it sounds corny but have you ever tried a Paul McKenna weight loss CD? It really helps you feel good about yourself now, and it sends you to sleep! I think denise79 and vswift had some very good advice too. Hang on in there and look after yourself : )

chin up try to keep focused on your eating plan everything works itself out and just remember a problem shared is a problem halved take care and keep in touch
