It's discouraging when you are really working at something and you only go down half a pound. But I'm not giving up yet. I'm enjoying the exercise and the cooking, but I sometimes feel like I'm eating too much. I think that's part of the old record in my head of low fat/super low calories (starvation) to lose. You would think I could throw that record out but the brain desperately wants to hold on to it. We've had some beautiful days here in the PNW so I am trying to get out and walk. It's a great way to get to know my new neighborhood. Can't wait for spring! I was at the store yesterday and they had huge tables of primroses. It made my heart feel so light and happy to see all those beautiful flowers!

Don't let the scales get you down! If you just lose 1/2 pound every other day, that will be 2-1/2 pounds in a week! That's GREAT progress!!!

In the past I have thought that and at that time I wanted to lose my weight so I could eat more again. This time I am focusing on eating to be full, not hungry or deprived. I am eating satisfing meals and I plan on eating this way for the rest of my life. The first time around I couldn’t maintain the lower weight. It doesn’t matter to me how long it takes. You are doing so well, losing weight and walking. You are seeing beauty and appreciating it. Take care.

This is why I don’t weigh myself every day. I know it helps some people but for me it would be just too discouraging. Little ups and downs are normal it is the long term trend you want to see and looking back over your journal it looks like you are doing great!

lol try going zero in 2 weeks lol I'm on a 2600calorie a day I'm 200 5'7 if I don't go down on saturday I'ma change my calories to 2400 per day and so on lil decreases help with the defecit do t go to crazy down if not ur metabolism gonna slow down and it'll be harder to go down trust me lol
