I'm Awake Basking in the Sunlight of Life! My mother who was also a huge Love in my life died in 1999. She showed up in my vivid dream last night which is a special and very rare occassion for me. She said about me, "She will not remember". I know she told me three things and at the time I remember the words seemed to be random and not of any importance, but I tried to memorize the words and guess what? I don't remember!
It really bothered me this morning until I realized perhaps what I needed to hear was "To Remember". It is so easy to forget and while in this world forget to remember lol. Remember we know what we need to do to heal ourselves, find joy, help others, make a difference! TOWANDA!! Day 11 (summer personal challenge)

I really like your journal entry today Lisa. One should always remember their parents, it *is* so easy to forget all that they have gone through for us. I hope you can continue to bask for a loooong time in the beautiful Sunlight of your Life. :-)

I grew up with only a mother and she passed over ten years ago
I have her appear in my dreams at least once a week doesn't say anything but shes there.Have a good night

Wow, strange dream. I am sure I dream, but rarely remember them. I AM sure I dream tho. My Mom passed away in 2002 and I miss her terribly. We were very close. It was a rough time for me. 7 weeks after she passed, in January of 2003 my first and oldest child died in a tragic car accident. She was struck by a drunk driver and died at the scene. Two special people in my life swept away suddenly and so closely. It was an extremely hard year. I didn't dream of my daughter for a long time. Then one night I dreamed I saw her walk into a restaurant. She came up to me and said she was working for the FBI and had to stay hidden. How I wish that were true. After that dream which took a year to happen, I dream of her more frequently. It's funny, the only dreams I remember are of her, my Mom, or my Dad (he passed in March 2008). I hardly dream of other stuff. Sometimes work, but I really don't remember dreams much at all. Maybe that is just as well. You always start your journals on how high on life you are. You are so lucky to have such a positive and wonderful attitude. Most of the time I am quite happy, but I beat myself up a lot on this weight loss. I know how important it is to me and have to stop allowing it to upset me if I don't see a loss. I already know I lose slow, but lately it is S - L - O - W.
