Hubby & I had an hour long walk yesterday afternoon. It was great! We ventured out to a greenway that neither of us have been on before. We have driven past it for years, but never stopped to explore it. What a great workout! Both of us were sweating it out! My adrenaline had me wanting to do more, but my body achingly said, "No, no, no!" ;) Instead, I did some crunches, lunges & push-ups when we got home.

It was nice to beat the scales this morning after such a workout! It really frustrated me last week when I gained after working out! Yesterday, I was thinking ... as long as I am making the right choices (healthy food & exercise), then I am doing the right thing. And I should be happy & proud of myself for doing the right thing. Even when the scales don't show it for a day or a few days, I have to stay on track with the right thing & it will all work out in the end! My goal is to be more healthy & lose weight, not just lose weight. Now, if I can just tell myself that when the scales don't go my way! lol!
