I am in a slump, exercise wise and food wise. I can blame it on the weekend, or phil being back, or my birthday, but I feel like I should have been stronger this time around and able to resist temptations. How do I get back and stop complaining about working out? Someone help, I feel like a failure and I need some helpful input :'(

What I try to focus on is the fact that what you did this weekend is relatively "normal". After you get to your goal weight your going to have the holiday/birthday weekends. Its all about not letting a fun weekend turn into a change to your normal eating. Your doing great and you can do it. I'm pretty much at your weight now and I know it hasn't been easy so far but you can't change what you already did this weekend just focus on what your going to do today and what you want in the long run which is hopefully to be healthy for life.

Wow we are in the same boat. I am feeling like a faliure as well. I think that holiday weekend really messed us up. Don't worry these days or weeks will happen. Just realize the issure and squash it. =) I have been doing well on the eating front for the last 2 days but still no exercise. I am going to get my Hubby to go with me later today to the gym. Don't worry we will get back on track and get to our goal weight of 160. Thanks for all your great advice and help. Amy
