These are the things that I’m beginning to realize are little victories. I weighed in the other day at 209lbs. My wonderful wife and I went to the city for the the day on Sunday and I ate some really good food. I was aware of what I was doing and didn’t allow myself to go crazy, but I didn’t deny myself either. I woke up on Monday, stepped on the scale, and saw I gained almost 2 lbs. That normally would have been very discouraging to me, but I just went right back to my diet and lost the 2 lbs. this morning. This is going to be a journey and for the first time I’m going to take it slow and appreciate the scenery on the way there!
