One week after starting my weight loss goal on keto and I didn't reach my target but I am down 1lb 🙂.
I know it's a reachable target if I eat right but last week I had a terrible flu where I had to take medication that had loads of sugar and wheat so I did indulge in a bit more sugar and carbs then usual. I also cheated over the weekend and had brownies and scones that I made for a function at work.
Been a chef and on keto and also having a gluten intolerance can be very challenging. But I am determined to stay on the ketogenic lifestyle because it's best for my health and wellness.
To be realistic, I do need more carbs than 25 gram per day because of my job of being on my feet pacing the flour for 7 hours, as opposed to the desk job I had when I just started keto in 2015.
So I might review my daily intake of carbs, up my fat and protein and lower my sugars. I will excercise more self control and eat healthy carbs instead if I want to reach my goal.
Overall I did well and I give myself a pat on the back for also adding 3 days of excercise last week😊
