Weighing in, as my wife is also weighing in today. Feeling blessed for the support I have. Watched a motivational video that was talking all about how nobody is here to help you and you're on your own on this journey etc. Load of bunk for me, but I still acknowledge the effort I am putting in. Feeling just amazing!

We only on this journey alone in as much as WE are the one accountable for what and how much we choose to eat But support is so crucial And people will often try to sabotage your efforts You know the ones. The “ oh one little piece of cake wont kill you !! I made it especially for u “ Yeah. Those people 😳We all have them in our lives. So surround yourself with people who only support what ur doing not wanting you to fail due to their own inability to change !!

Agree, parksy! I know the ones! I did eat something on my birthday purely because someone bought it for me, but it was thoughtful thing and she wasn't trying to be unhelpful. I'm glad my friends respected my wish for NO birthday cake :) I am trying to surround myself with positive, supportive people, and spend less time with the "other" kind. That's partly why being on here is so good! :)
