Journal de elephino, 10 mai 13

I weighed myself after lunch today, which probably wasn't the best idea ever, but I'm pleased that it's still a little less than the last time I weighed in.

I can't really SEE any improvement so far, unless it's in slightly-slimmer legs, but I've been dodging mirrors and keeping the numbers in my head to keep my self-esteem up. If I can convince myself I'm making progress, I'll be more optimistic about continuing!

Hurley, my dog, seems to be slimming a little faster than I am. I even had to tighten his harness a little when we went for a walk to the park today. I'm super happy for him!

It's getting difficult to keep track of all the challenges I've joined, but most of them coincide with other things I'm already doing, so I'm going to keep it up. I can't say I've passed them all, because I often forget to eat anything and come in far under the 1200 calorie limit for one challenge, and it's been a rainy week, preventing me from walking every day for another, and I'm sooooo bad at crunches that they usually get the best of me.

But I am determined to get healthier. I just need to get better at it.
