Postponing may be a good option. There would be nothing worse, than being on holiday and DH having to take it easy, 'just in case'. You want to be able to enjoy this opportunity to the max. 

What happened to hubby? Good to hear he is recovering and hopefully will be back home soon. Ya'll can go away when he is better.The world will never settle down I'm afraid. Just live your lives and not in fear. 

I'm sorry to hear about your trip -- I know how you've been looking forward to it, but have to agree that you'll both enjoy it more if he's feeling well. You are so right about the travel insurance, especially for big trips. We'd never taken it out & for our first bike trip (that time, it was to be to France), my oldest son had a seizure (he is epileptic but had been seizure free for over 2 years then) before we even got on a bike. They reimbursed us for everything, & we did have the most delicious meal in Provence the night before it happened. This is the same son who was born 3 weeks early while we were vacationing in Newport, RI and also had a seizure while we were in Napa. Needless to say, we're travel insurance groupies! We joke with him though about it... that he owes us more trips already than he can afford, so he'd better stay healthy from now on when we travel! Yes, I hope you can postpone and have him heal up properly. The trip will be so much more fun that way.  

it is probably meant to be, to postpone the trip for now especially since you have the trip insurance. That was a good move. Where were you scheduled to go? Good to hear he is home, each day will be a healing one :-) Good to hear about the no gain also! I know hospital food is not the best for weight loss, from when my dad was there. The cafeteria lady got to know me & my mom and kept giving mom candy and fresh baked cookies! 

why were you in the hospital? I hope all is okay
