SPRING CUT - DAY 49 11 Hours Fasted
Ha! Fully massively refed and still under 190#. I'll take that after clocking 2+ weeks of unmitigated fuckarounditis.
I had planned to go one more day, but then I didn't. I guess I wasn't that committed when the craves hit....
Butchered up a chunk of the 18# beef strip from the restaurant supply and cut myself a nice 2"er. Also cut a couple tall filets off the loin I've been hiding in the back of the fridge. Got in about a pound of the strip steak and a half pound of the filet before I started choking on it. No sides; just salt, pepper, garlic and a couple tablespoons of Jimmie's own sauce to lube up the end cuts. Let that sit for a couple minutes and then remembered the strawberries in the fridge. Best so far this year. Giant.
And by the way, on sale at the Restaurant supply for like 1.19 a pound. Just sayin. Last trip I came out of there with almost 70# of meat, a 25# bag of jasmine rice, and various sundries for like $230. People were looking at me funny cause I was laughing so hard in the parking lot. But I digress....
So of course, I slathered the strawberries with super chunk peanut butter and topped with a droplet of honey. Perfect!
All in, my little debauche came in around 3000k.
Oh wait, I almost forgot, later I toasted up a bagel, slathered it up with butter, salt and cream cheese, and topped it off with the garbage grape jelly I keep on hand for Pop. Then back again later for more strawberries.... Pretty undisciplined. Extended feeding window; five hours? Four trips to the feedbag. And, as the kids say, WTFE.
Had planned to fast until today and then do brunch with Pop. No offense Pop, but fuck brunch. Jumping right back into another 72. Prepping the food week while I am still fed this morning.
Pics yesterday made it clear that I am not quite done, that said, pretty nice progress since January. Waist under 34" for the first time this cut. Body fat at 14.4%. Rocking some minor quad separation, which is surprising since I haven't seen a squat rack for 18 months.
Time to dust off and tune up the Re-Comp plan and put a start date on the calendar.
Beautiful sunrise. House is quiet and at peace. So am I. Sun's pouring in. Coffee's near perfect.
