I am SO frustrated! I did the 30 hour famine for our church this weekend so I ate a lot Friday morning and a lot Saturday evening but still!! I kept within my points completely. I honestly don't understand. Maybe I'm just underestimating my points?

I read on here where someone was talking about how WW doesn't really want you to make lifetime - they want you to keep paying, etc. At first (because I'm HUGELY paranoid myself), I tried to pass it off as that, but the more I think about it... I know that when I did WW before (on my own - another entry on it's own) I weighed approximately the same and had WAY less points. I also lost weight A LOT faster. I know that you're supposed to eat all your points in order for it to work, but I'm honestly considering going back to "those" points instead... Obviously they worked for me AND for WW at the time... Anybody have any thoughts?

Food finds: Found the bacon salt last night at Kroger. I had it in my omelette this morning and it was good. I also got the PB2 and the Tofu Shirataki noodles. Can't wait to try the noodles. hated, Hated, HATED the PB2! What a waste of $7! I tried it as a fluffernutter sandwich which masked it somewhat but I think as big as I am (and thus, as many points as I get) that if I'm really craving one I'll just work it in for now. I might get desperate later - but I doubt I'll be THAT desperate. LOL!

I don't know what the person said about WW, but it's a business and they are in it to make money. But if it wasn't successful, people wouldn't be using it. I know lots of people who follow the plan and lose the weight for good. If we gain it back, there's no one to blame but ourselves (the same goes for any plan out there). If you ate a lot on one day and then didn't' eat for 30 hours, that could produce a gain. Our metabolisms are strange things. You might try googling a calorie calculator that tells you how many calories you need to lose weight (remember its a guideline). You can then compare that to how much you are eating on WW and see how that is compares. Utilmately, you need to do what is best for you. But the more you eat while losing the more you will be able to eat while maintaining. Also, although you want to lose fast, losing too fast means a lot of excess skin. Slower loss enables the skin more time to go back. You might also try to keep the processed foods to a minimum, and eat fresh and natural (lot's of fruits, veggies, lean dairy and protein). Processed foods contain a lot of sodium and some people are more sensitive to sodium (retain water). If you don't exercise, you might want to start. It will help firm you up and get you into smaller sizes sooner. Good luck!

I also noticed you have lost around 10 pounds since April 2, that is wonderful. Whatever you are doing is working. Don't worry about half a pound gain. I bet that will be off in a couple of days. You are doing fine. The only way to get to goal is to not give up and have patience.

I live off of the tofu noodles. All you need is to accompany them with a great lowfat sauce and you're done. The noodles don't taste like anything by itself but it soaks up the flavor of the sauce you top it with. My fav recipe is lean ground turkey with a bottle of Ragu (veggie kind) and I add garlic and onion powder, sage, oregano and red chili flakes (revs up metabolism) and pour that on my tofu noodles and it's just like eating spaghetti only less calories, less carbs and more weight loss! YEAH!
