W10D1 - officially 30lbs down! Only 74 to go in order to reach my goal of 220lbs. I am impressed by how well this program works. People are starting to notice (even those who see me often) and my clothes are fitting better.
This means that I have reached my first goal of being under 300lbs. I am so excited to be reaching this goal so early (I was hoping to hit this mark before my birthday on November 1st).
Because of this, I intend to reward myself by buying hiking gear for the upcoming season. By meeting this goal I am rewarding myself by purchasing a 4 person first aid kit. My next 10lbs below this will get me a a specialty water canteen (like a Camelbak). If I get to 20 less pounds before November 1st, I am going to splurge for my birthday and buy me a lightweight hiking backpack with a frame.
If I get to 30lbs less by Christmas, I am going to order me a hiking pole. If I ever get to my stretch goal of weighing less than 200lbs, I am going to purchase myself a Canon T7 Rebel DSLR or similar quality digital camera for photographing/recording my wildlife experiences.
