Knees not working to good today! Monthly grocery shopping is done - hallelujah! Not my favorite job- Today it was crazy at the store, so many people shopping, some shelves empty. Where they panic buying -don't know, I just wanted to get it done and go home. I go to 3 different stores Dollar Tree, one to get my meat 4 bundles for $20 and one to buy my produce and dairy needs. went over my monthly budget but guess that will be the norm in the future. I buy my meat when I see good sales- stock up- bring it home and divide it into 3-4 ounce serving for us and freeze. I try to keep at least 30 meals of meat--beef, pork, ham, chicken and 5 meals of seafood-- mussels, tilapia and shrimp. In my other freezer -I keep my homemade soups- at least 3 kinds, pasta sauce, frozen corn, broccoli and cauliflower. Plus any leftover that can be used for a lunch. This month I am going to try 1% milk. I do not care for the Oat milk, and as much as I really like the Silk- it gives me a gut ache. I want to make some Peach flavored chi pudding.
