I felt horrible today. My body was in pain; like an aching-about-to-get-the-flu-type pain. I chose not to workout today, even though I wanted to. I just couldn't stand it. From my head to my feet. I couldn't figure out why I felt this way. I knew, after my chair squats/lunges, my legs might be a little sore; and maybe my arms would be too because of the chair dips....but I wasn't expecting my WHOLE body to feel this way. I finally gave in and took some pain medication that the doc prescribed me after I had my baby in January. It definitely helped. Should have taken it earlier in the day so I could work out, but I hate taking meds. I'm a bit bummed that I ended up taking it....but at least I don't feel as horrible as I did earlier. I honestly felt like I couldn't function---which is hard when you have 3 little ones. At least my husband held the baby off and on. I sure hope I'm not coming down with something. I thought maybe it was mastitis, but I shouldn't be getting that anymore...since my squish is 3 months old now. Along with the pain, my temp would alternate between feeling cold and feeling feverish. Oh well...hopefully I can get a small workout in tomorrow. Today was just not a good day.

Its good that you didn't work out. When your body is sore, its because you have tiny muscle tears. This retains some water and you want at least one day to recover, for your body to heal. You will want to resume when you no longer have much pain. Drink plenty of water. May want to up the salt a little too.

Didn't know this, so thank you for telling me! What does upping your salt intake do?
