okay, so I did my blood work today and just got the results. On July 29th I did the same test and my A1C came back at 7.0. That's a diagnosis of diabetes. On August 3 rd I started the lower carb try to stick around 100g per day thing. Reader...my test today came back at 5.5 or .1% above normal range! The form even said "significant change to A1C retested and results confirmed" Which is medical jargon for 'this is so different from last time I prolly f@#$ed the test up.... oh wait no, it is right...' To say I'm pleased would be to under sell it.

i low carbed years ago, in my earlu 30's with great success. but i fell off the wagon and fell into unhealthy eating habits of binge eating. soooo i tried noom. the psychological approach was great but labeled the high fats as 'red" and focused more on whole foods incl. whole grains. didnt take long before my carb intake sky rocketed and not only am i at my highest weight, but highest aci and cholesterol. it instilled a new strength in going back to a lower carb life. lcl is definitely a life changer for many. congrats to you. taking charge of your health is huge!
