Thankyou! Saw myself in some photos taken today and I’M FATTER THAN I THOUGHT I WAS. I’m a barrel!! It’s just given me a shock. I’m the same width side on as I am head on…. I hope this is my proverbial kick up the backside, and I actually get serious about DOING it instead of thinking about doing it.

Trytry, you’re being very hard on yourself. Unless you’re very short like me, I doubt you look as big as you feel x. I have found January hard diet-wise, I think a lot of us have. I’m trying to focus on each meal and being healthier. I’m hoping the rest will follow🤞🏾. I’m cheering you on and sending lots of motivation vibes your way 😊

I feel like this alot of the time. I begin to feel good then bam a photograph shows me how fat I am. BUT photographs can be so deceiving and so much depends on lighting, angle etc. It's good to have found a motivation but please remember you're more than one photo

Suma, it’s the other way round!! I think I am a normal size but I’m not! I’m so tubby! I’m 5’6 square!

Wow! You’re half a foot taller than me. Positively a giant😂. You’re focusing on your health and that’s the best place to be, one step at a time as someone reminded me today. In the end our looks, weight etc don’t define us - not really. It’s who we are underneath the superficial covering. You are an amazing person who is always here celebrating and supporting everyone. Sure, we all aspire to be a certain weight etc…where we feel our most comfortable and confident, but goodness and kindness matter far more. I’m a bit wobbly on my fitness journey at present, but am cheering you on. You’ve got this xxx

Trytrytryagainagain, I noticed your help about biscuits, cheese and rice cakes. So thanks I will do the same with chocolate maybe a lovely chocolate thing one a month it wouldn't work with me weekly. So monthly it's something to look forward to. Merry Mel 🤩.

Merry Mel, I did pretty well all day yesterday with a bit of forward planning. Apart from drinking water. And apart from enough steps. When I go to work I don’t drink from the tap (its an old supply and I don’t trust it!) and the shop closes at 2.30pm. sometimes I’m sitting at my desk non stop, but sometimes I’m setting up equipment at events. Then packing it all away at 3am! And quite a lot of these past two years has been a lot of free time.
