I may have gone too far down the road with fixed-weight hexagonal dumbbells. I paid $30 for a single 15-pounder at Amazon. I could've got a 45-pound adjustable set for just $20 more. I read that a dollar a pound is about as low as you can pay. If so, I paid double for that last Reebok. I may wait until I finish this first month of a three month total body program before buying any more dumbbells since the book recommends doing the first month of the program with lighter weights. I'm finishing up the first week of the first month. I'll start on the second month at the beginning of July.
